Message	you'll want to be sure that after whatever prep you end up doing you need to ensure the concrete is free of oils, dirt, contaminants, residues and it should be completely free of moisture. So, if you grind the concrete there will be much dust to be vacuumed up and/or washed away. If you put water down you've got to wait a while to ensure it's dry before continuing. How long depends on the environment (temperature, air movement, relative humidity, etc.)
